How Seasonale Works
Seasonale is considered an "extended regimen" birth control pill. Seasonale Side Effects
Most side effects associated with Seasonale are not serious enough for you to stop treatment. In clinical studies the most common side effects were headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, breakthrough bleeding, and breast tenderness. You may have more break-through bleeding and spotting than with regular 28-day birth control pills. This is common and will decrease over time.
